✨ I had dollar for every times someone asked me to help them on a new construction home contract AFTER they’ve signed with the sales agent already- I’d definitely have some good spending money. 💰
It is in your best interest to have representation at these new construction sales offices. 🏡
I’m not saying the sales agent are going to screw you over because I’ve met a nice amount of honest ones, BUT they do work FOR THE BUILDER, aka the seller, aka not you. 🤷🏼♀️
💥Couple things to know 💥
• The buyer does not pay their realtor- the builder will (MAKE SURE your agent is present for the 1st meeting or the builder may not pay them).🏡
•Get you an agent that knows how to read new construction contracts because they ARE NOT THE SAME as resale contracts. Some builders Might have their own. With that being said, most of those things in the contract will work in the builders favor and you just need to make sure you agree with it!📝
•If you don’t and you sign blindly because you want a shiny new home, then you may end up playing yourself and be very mad towards the end. 😡 GET REPRESENTATION !!!
